Åsele Holeshot/Big Jump March 2007

I suddenly and without warning discovered there would be some snowmobile events in Åsele at the same time as their winter market. I thought I had missed most of the season but instead I had the chance to take photos both of the Holeshot races (Holeshot is a snowmobile cross event on a very small, tight and bumpy track, when they come up over the biggest bump it does seem like they are "shooting out of a hole") and some Big Jump action as well - just a display although they do usually compete. One of the main men was missing from the big jump due to having broken his back the day before .... screwing up in these events is not recommended ...
